The man dashed Ianto's hopes. "No," he whispered. "I suppose that would be too much to wish for." He had gone back in time then. The man seemed to not understand the word "medieval". That would certainly make sense if he was right in the middle of the Dark Ages. At the man's offer, Ianto hesitated. He did not know this man, but he also could not deny that if he remained where he was, he would probably collapse. "All right," he told him. "I hope you are friendly to the Welsh," Ianto muttered under his breath.
